On September 29th, the largest LNG (liquefied natural gas) receiving station in Northeast China, the Yingkou LNG receiving station, was completed in Yingkou, Liaoning, and entered the stage of joint commissioning and production preparation.
The total investment of Yingkou LNG receiving station is 7 billion yuan, covering an area of 55 hectares. The first phase of the project includes the construction of LNG dedicated terminal berths, four 200000 cubic meter LNG storage tanks, and a complete set of core process systemsBy adopting an intelligent control platform, LNG intelligent full process operations can be achieved. After the project reaches its production capacity, its annual LNG unloading capacity will reach 6.2 million tons, and its annual natural gas supply capacity will reach 8.7 billion cubic meters.
The Yingkou LNG receiving station is the LNG receiving station with the highest latitude, longest high-altitude cycle, and most complex geological conditions in China. It is also a landmark project to ensure the supply of clean energy in Northeast China and support the "dual carbon" goal. After the project is fully put into operation, it can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 27.89 million tons per year, which is equivalent to the carbon sequestration effect of 12 million acres of afforestation. It can meet the annual gas demand of residents in Northeast China, further improving the energy security level of Northeast China and optimizing the regional energy consumption structure.
